Prequalification

As a mobility and transport group, we have an obligation to our customers and society, which is why our contracted requirements and services must fulfil certain standards. For this reason, certain goods and services are also subject to special requirements that necessitate a prequalification process before a procurement contract can be considered (qualification system according to Section 48 of the Rules on Awarding Contracts in Transport, Drinking Water Supply and Energy Supply (Sektorverordnung, "SektVO")). This ensures that only those suppliers who have demonstrated their basic capability in a transparent process can take part in the contract award procedure.

What is the prequalification process all about?

Applicants are given the opportunity to demonstrate their suitability to provide supplies and services. The focus is on information about their expertise, experience and capabilities. All parties involved benefit from a transparent, secure process.

For the conditions of participation, please refer to the detailed information that we have summarized for you on the following pages.

Important note!

For deliveries and disciplines subject to a prequalification process, companies can only participate in the contract award procedure and be awarded a contract by us after successfully completing prequalification ("prequalified" or "prequalified with conditions" status).
